See recent polls for city halls in the state of SP – 10/02/2024 – Power

The 2024 elections are scheduled to take place on the first Sunday of October, the 6th. The second round will take place if the candidate with the most votes for mayor is unable to reach an absolute majority, which is half plus one of the valid votes (null or blank votes are not counted).

This year, elections are focused on choosing mayors and councilors. Voting takes place in more than 5,500 cities and will mobilize more than 150 million voters, according to the TSE (Superior Electoral Court).

The Datafolha and Quaest institutes publish research on the mayoral races in the main cities of the country and the state of São Paulo, which will have electoral races in their municipalities. Check out the most recent polls in disputes within the state:

According to Datafolha on September 26, Ricardo Nunes (MDB) and Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) lead the dispute in the capital of São Paulo, with 27% and 25% of voting intentions, respectively. Pablo Marçal (PRTB) is in third place, with 21%.

Tabata Amaral (PSB) has 9% and José Luiz Datena (PSDB), 5%. After them comes businesswoman Marina Helena (Novo), with 2%. 6% said they voted blank and null and 3% did not know how to answer.

The poll’s margin of error is two percentage points. Hired by Sheet, the survey interviewed 1,610 voters in the capital, and is registered with the Electoral Court under number SP-06090/2024

Mayor Dário Saadi (Republicans) leads the Quaest survey in the largest city in the interior of São Paulo. The candidate for reelection has 46% of voting intentions and is isolated in first place. Rafa Zimbaldi (Citizenship), second place in the 2020 elections, scores 16%.

Pedro Tourinho (PT), third in the last election, has 13% of intentions. The two are tied in the margin of error, which is three points plus or minus. Angelina Dias (PCO) has 2% and Wilson Matos (Novo), 1%. The two are tied in margin of error.

14% say they vote blank, null or do not vote and 8% are undecided.

The survey was commissioned by EPTV and was carried out in person with 900 people aged 16 or over in Campinas, from the 15th to the 17th of September. It is registered with the Electoral Court under protocol SP-06150/2024.

Federal deputy Ricardo SIlva (PSD) leads the dispute alone, with 54% of voting intentions. In second place, three candidates are technically tied: Roque (PT), with 7%, Marco Aurélio (Novo), with 5%, and André Trindade (União Brasil), with 5%.

Dr. Ismar Menezes (Agir) and Douglas de Andrade (PCO) have 1% and are tied in the margin of error with Marco Aurélio and André Trindade. 12% are undecided and 15% say they vote blank, invalid or not vote.

The Quaest survey was carried out in person with 852 people aged 16 or over in Ribeirão Preto, on September 15th to 17th, and was registered with the Electoral Court under protocol SP-07293/2024. The margin of error is plus or minus three points.

São José dos Campos

Former mayor Eduardo Cury (PL) and current mayor Anderson (PSD) are tied within the margin of error in the leadership of the city of Vale do Paraíba in São Paulo. Cury has 31% of voting intentions and Anderson, 26%, according to a Quaest survey released on September 30th. The margin of error is three percentage points.

Then come Dr. Elton (União Brasil), with 13% and Wagner Balieiro (PT), with 8%, they also tie in the margin of error. Toninho Ferreira (PSTU) and Prof. Wilson Cabral (PDT) score 1% each. 12% of voters say they vote blank or invalid and 8% do not know who to vote for.

The Quaest survey was commissioned by Rede Vanguarda and interviewed 852 voters in São José dos Campos, between the 27th and 29th of September. It was registered with the Electoral Court under protocol SP-08311/2024.
