The Secretary of State for Administration (Sead) invites more candidates for the contest for combat soldier of the Military Fire Department (CBM-AP) to carry out the third phase of the contest, which consists of the Assessment of Physical Capacities (ACF), scheduled to take place on the 30th and 31st of March.
The evaluation consists of flexion tests on the fixed bar, abdominal resistance in 1 minute, swimming, running and flexion of arms on the step. Locations and times are available in the announcement.
The head of Sead’s Personnel Planning and Selection Unit, Karina Silva, explains that, in February of this year, 295 candidates were summoned for the test. After the preliminary result, the period for appeals was opened, at which time the responsible commission analyzed the requests.
“There will be eight candidates who will do the Physical Capabilities Assessment, three of whom had their appeals deferred and will be reassessed and five candidates who were waiting to be called”detailed Karina.
After the physical tests, those approved proceed to the stages of psychological assessment, health examination and social investigation. The contest, which started in 2022, provides for the call for 220 candidates for the first group of the Training Course.
