PSB and PDT gain strength in the government with support for the framework – 05/25/2023 – Panel
The vote on the fiscal framework strengthened within the PSB and PDT government, which gave 100% of votes in favor of the rule. “Who is the base in structuring voting demonstrates in practice, not in conversation”, says the socialist leader, Felipe Carreras (PE), in a jab at the PT, which had dissidents, and the PSOL, which was against it.
“What matters is the vote. The rest is frills”, echoes Mauro Benevides Filho (PDT-CE). By massively supporting the new framework, the PDT opposed former presidential candidate Ciro Gomes. On May 12, he called the framework a “crunch” and new roof.
