On loan from Coritiba, Diogo Batista celebrates access by Remo
The right-back Diogo Batistaloaned by Coritiba against Remo, they gained access to Series B, this Sunday (29), after the Amazonian club’s victory over São Bernardo. The defender celebrated the achievement and said he wants to compete for the Series C title.
“I’m very happy, I arrived to help my teammates. I’m very happy, now it’s time to celebrate. And there’s more on Saturday, we’re going to win away from home and maybe win the title”said the player after the match, in an interview with the channel Remista Keys.
Diogo Batista was loaned to Remo in May this year. Since arriving at the team, he won the starting line-up and played 17 games. At Leão Azul, he scored his first goal in professional football and also provided two assists.

Remo is in second place in group B of Series C and is competing for a place in the final of the competition this Saturday (5), against Botafogo-PB. The team needs to be at the top of the group to compete in the final, a position that, at the moment, is occupied by Volta Redonda.
Whoever advances will compete in the final against the leader of group C, which has Athletic, Londrina and Ferroviária as options.

Piá do Couto, Diogo Batista has a contract with Coritiba until the end of 2024
The 21-year-old full-back graduated from the Coritiba academy, where he has played since he was 15 years old. Diogo debuted in professional football last season, when he played 11 matches in the Brasileirão and had one assist.
In the current season, the full-back was used in seven games in the Campeonato Paranaense, still with coach Guto Ferreira, but then lost space. Diogo has a contract until the end of this year with Alviverde, the same period in which his loan to Remo ends.
For the alviverde base, he was champion of the Copa do Brasil under-20, in 2021, alongside Natanael, Kaio César, Thalisson, Ronier, among others. He also won the under-20 Paranaense Championship in 2022 and 2023.
