Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) provoked President Lula (PT) on a social network this Saturday afternoon (27), listing crimes, scams and fraud that use references to the president or the PT.

“This year alone we already had: email lula1063 used by organized crime, lula@gmail in fraudulent vaccine card, Lul22 login used by judge who likes ‘hazing’ and now whats group Lula13 to set up games. Lula is not involved in these facts, but it is a constant reference”, wrote Moro on Twitter.

The judge mentioned in the tweet is Eduardo Appio, holder of the 13th Federal Court of Curitiba, responsible for the remaining cases of Operation Lava Jato in Paraná. He was temporarily removed from his duties by the TRF-4 (Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region) last Monday (22). The regional court is investigating whether Appio called the son of the former Lava Jato rapporteur at the TRF-4, pretending to be a Federal Justice employee and asking questions about family ties.

In an interview with GloboNews, Appio confirmed that he used the login “LUL22” in the justice system until this year. He said it was an “isolated and individual protest” against an arrest he considered illegal, that of current President Lula.

The games mentioned by Moro, referring to the football betting scandal, cite a report by UOL. According to the portal, Sampaio Corrêa players used a WhatsApp group called “Lula 13” to talk about betting and the manipulation of Serie B games. The group would have been created last November, days after the elections.

Responsible for ordering Lula’s arrest in 2018, Moro and the petista have been exchanging barbs frequently, through the press or social networks.

In March, Lula stated that a PCC plan to attack Moro, disclosed by the Federal Police, would be “a setup” by the former judge.

“I don’t know what he’s going to do with his life if he keeps lying the way he is,” said the PT candidate.

In an interview days before, the former president said that he thought, when he was in prison, of taking revenge on Moro. “[Eu dizia:] It is not alright. It’s only going to be okay when I fuck this Moro. Y’all cut out the word ‘fuck’,” he said at the time.

Later, in April, the president said at breakfast with journalists that he was instructed by the Communications Secretariat not to mention the disaffection anymore. “I don’t have to talk about the thing or the thing,” he said, also referring to former president Jair Bolsonaro.
