The Federal Public Ministry (MPF) opened a procedure to investigate Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro for the crime of embezzlement in the case of jewelry brought from Saudi Arabia, based on a representation made by deputy Luciene Cavalcante ( PSOL-SP). The framework was indicated this week.

Former Minister Bento Albuquerque and former Revenue Secretary Julio Gomes, who handled the jewelry with Bolsonaro by telephone, are also mentioned in the criminal notice received by the agency.
