Independente wins São Paulo and maintains 100% performance in Amapazão – News of Brazil

On the night of this Thursday (26) Independente secured the first place in the Amapaense Football Championship after beating São Paulo by 3×0, at Estádio Zerão. The match also featured an event held by the Amapá Professional Athlete Assurance Association (AGAP) in solidarity with Brazilian player Vini Jr.

With this result, Carcará da Vila Maia maintains 100% success in the competition and takes over the leadership of Amapazão with 09 points. Tricolor from the North Zone, on the other hand, remains in the last position of the table, with one point.

Independente, wanting to maintain their invincibility, took advantage of the first half to open the scoring. In the 06th minute, Higo Calçoene opened the scoring and a minute later, Lukaku increased the scoring. São Paulo was not in danger and let it be dominated by Carcará.

The second half started and at 02 minutes, with a free kick, Daniel Felipe increased the score of the match. São Paulo was unable to endanger the opponent’s goal for the remainder of the game.

Now, Independente will take to the field on June 1st against the vice-leader of the competition, Oratório. São Paulo, on the other hand, is looking for its first victory and duel against Santos, on May 29th. Both play at 8 pm, at Estádio Zerão, for the fourth round of the competition.

Amapazão continues this Friday (26) with the last game of the third round between Santana and Macapá, at 8 pm, at Estádio Zerão.
