The students of the Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) practitioners of continuous sports activities can enroll in the Bolsa Athlete High Performance Program from March 15th to 20th. There are 13 grants of R$530.00 each and valid for 10 months.
In order to participate in the program, the student must be regularly enrolled in one of the secondary or higher level courses offered by one of the six Ifap units, either in face-to-face or distance education.
In addition to the criterion related to enrollment, the student must also have no failures in their academic record in the cycle of studies prior to enrollment in the Program and must also prove their performance as an athlete by submitting participation documents in competitions representing Ifap or via declarations of entities linked to the practice of sports such as federations and confederations.
The main objective of the Program is to encourage high-performance sports students, in addition to having access to quality education, to have better conditions to carry out their training routine and participate in municipal, state and national competitions. This entire process will be subject to the supervision of the Sports Sectors or equivalent of the Ifap unit to which the contemplated student is linked.
