Since the elimination of Santos to Ituano by 3-0, the club has been trying to pick up the pieces to take advantage of the free month with the intention of rebuilding for the Brazilian Championship. In practice, however, the situation is still far from ideal.

Santos has not yet presented reinforcements for coach Odair Hellmann. Management remains hot in the market and is looking for big names, such as Jean Lucas, for the midfield. However, so far the business has not evolved.

The difficulty to bring players who solve it still exists. Management continues to hear some “no” in the market and having problems to reach a common denominator.

The lack of replacement starts to become an internal noise. Odair is releasing players who no longer want to be part of the squad. Santos, however, has not yet been able to replace it.

Since the early elimination, Santos foresees exits. Raniel had his contract terminated this week, while Zanocelo has an indefinite future and Luiz Felipe is in negotiation with Cruzeiro. The idea is to do a kind of cleaning in the cast.

Odair Hellmann will not be able to count on nine players who are being treated by the medical department. Among the names, Ângelo and Lucas Braga are in playing condition, but will undergo strengthening after playing in sacrifice.

Menino da Vila has discomfort in his left thigh, while Braga has wear on his pubis. In addition to the duo, Odair also does not have: Alex, Maicon, Carabajal, Sandry, Mendoza, Joaquim and Soteldo.
