How do inequalities worsen the climate crisis? – 10/01/2024 – TV Folha


Climate change affects the planet as a whole, but the weight of its consequences is greater in the most vulnerable sectors of society. These discrepancies are the focus of the series of reports Excluded from Climate, a new project by Sheet in partnership with the Ford Foundation.

Reports from Sheet have shown you problems that Brazilians from different regions and biomes already face, or will face, due to the greater frequency and intensity of extreme events such as heat waves, rains and droughts, as the planet heats up.

To discuss how inequalities worsen the climate crisis, presenter Priscila Camazano welcomes Giuliana de Toledo, editor of Ambiente, on Como É que É? this Tuesday (1st).
