We know that for many it has become a custom (and almost an obligation) to enjoy a “sweetie” after a meal. And when it comes to a complete menu, like those offered at the Bom Gourmet Festival, dessert ends up being a crucial element to end the gastronomic experience with a golden key. With 79 participating restaurants in this edition, in Curitiba, there are several dessert options that please all palates. So, take advantage of the fact that the Festival runs until March 26th to visit famous restaurants in the city and try desserts that make the moment even more memorable.

How about trying a delicious dessert from France? At C’La Vie, a restaurant that combines French cuisine with Brazilian ingredients, it is possible to taste typical dishes from the European country. At the Bom Gourmet Festival, the establishment has two dessert options, the “Paris brest”, a pate aux choux pastry stuffed with toasted almond cream, the typical French sweet. The other sweet is the “tarte tartin C’La Vie”, caramelized apple pie with spices. Both options can be seen on the menu prepared for lunch and dinner for the fixed price of R$ 109.90. In addition to sophisticated and modern cuisine, consumers can also enjoy a classic and cozy space in the Batel neighborhood.

Peace Osteria

The Bom Gourmet Festival also features the famous Portuguese dessert: the Pastel de Belém. Offered on the dinner menu at Osteria da Paz (for R$109.90), a restaurant that specializes in Iberian cuisine. With family recipes, the establishment presents a menu with pasta and cod, ingredients that are the flagship of the place. Among the main course options there is “codfish à Lagareiro style with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes”. In addition to the typical Portuguese dessert, the restaurant also offers “red wine sago with egg cream”. Another differential of the establishment is the possibility for customers to choose the wine in the underground cellar of the Scopel Family and consume it on site for the same price as the store label.

Are you the type of person who prefers smoother sweets and preferably with fruit? Then check out the desserts from Grés Gastronomia & Empório, featured in this edition of Festival Bom Gourmet. There are two ovo-lactovegetarian options, namely: the “coconut panna cotta with mango coulis” and the “snowy eggs with vanilla custard from the Cerrado”. Among the main dishes, consumers can taste “basmati rice with coconut scent, tuna in two textures and lemongrass sauce”. The establishment features contemporary and artisanal cuisine, with dishes of quality and flavor. The same menu, as well as the two desserts, can be seen for lunch and dinner for R$89.90.

For chocolate lovers, Vindouro, a restaurant participating in the Bom Gourmet Festival, presents the “coconut and chocolate mousse pie”. Dessert served on the lunch (R$89.90) and dinner (R$109.90) menu. Located in Juvevê, the restaurant combines the pleasure of gastronomy with the world of wines. In other words, it offers visitors a true enogastronomic experience. Serving in the capital of Paraná since 2009, it allows Curitibans to taste international cuisine (with an emphasis on modern French cuisine), in addition to valuing Brazilian ingredients. Characteristics that can be seen at the Festival, such as the main course “magret in herb sauce with tangerine and pink pepper risotto”, an option served at dinner.

Not only is Italian cuisine made from pasta, there are also unique sweets for lovers of a good dessert. And for lovers of this cuisine, Doppo Cucina offers a complete menu inspired by Italy. In addition to being located in Batel, in a historic mansion listed by the cultural heritage of Curitiba. Among the desserts served at the Bom Gourmet Festival, there is the typical Italian sweet “profiteroles with ice cream”, with carolina stuffed with cream ice cream and chocolate sauce. For those who prefer a more acidic and Brazilian dessert, the establishment also has the “sicilian lemon mousse with sighs”. Both dishes can be enjoyed at lunch and dinner (R$109.90).
