Hezbollah on the border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina
– Episode of the 15 Minutos podcast talks about concerns about the presence of people linked to Hezbollah on the triple border
*) Israel’s war against Hezbollah has the whole world worried. Especially with Iran joining the attacks. There is a risk of even greater escalation of conflicts.
In South America, one of the reflections of this moment is concern about security in an area that is known for having the presence of members linked to the Lebanese group. We are talking about the triple border, involving Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
Report from People’s Gazette showed that public security authorities from the three countries held closed-door meetings on Monday (30), to discuss possible impacts of the war in Lebanon on the triple border.
The region is known for serving as a hideout and money laundering point used by terrorists and Hezbollah sympathizers. Paraguay and Argentina raised the alert level of their security forces.
The person who signs this report is Juliet Manfrin. She is the guest on this episode of 15 Minutes podcast.
