Petrobras informed this Wednesday (15) that it received an official letter from the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) with three nominations of candidates for the Federal Government ticket, as controlling shareholder, for the eight vacancies on the Board of Directors (CA ) whose elections will take place at the next General Shareholders’ Meeting of Petrobras, scheduled for April 27th.

According to the official letter from the ministry, the nominations must be evaluated by the competent bodies of Petrobras so that, if impediments are found that prevent the continuity of one or some of the other candidates previously indicated, substitutions can be made in a timely manner, without delay in carrying out the Assembly.

The candidates presented are:

  • Renato Campos Galuppo – lawyer;
  • Anelize Lenzi Ruas de Almeida – Attorney General of the National Treasury;
  • Evamar José dos Santos – financial consultant.

In addition, the letter from the MME formalized four nominations for the Company’s Fiscal Council (CF), whose elections will also take place at the next Petrobras Shareholders’ General Meeting.

The nominated candidates are:

  • Daniel Cabaleiro Saldanha – BA in Law;
  • Gustavo Gonçalves Manfrim – economist;
  • Cristina Bueno Camatta – PF delegate;
  • Sidnei Bispo – Director of Engineering at Furnas Centrais Elétricas SA

According to the company, all nominations submitted, both by the Board of Directors and the CF, will be submitted to the Company’s internal governance procedures, observing the Policy for Nominating Senior Management Members, for the analysis of legal and management requirements and integrity and subsequent manifestation of the Personnel Committee.
