GEA and TJAP launch 3rd notice of direct agreement for negotiation of court orders – Diário do Amapá
The State Government and the Court of Justice of Amapá (Tjap) On Monday, the 30th, they launched the 3rd notice of a direct precatório agreement with creditors, companies and citizens, who won in court the right to receive amounts from the State. The draft was signed by the governor Clécio Luís and by the president of Tjap, judge Adão Carvalho, who strengthen the institutional partnership between the Powers for the benefit of the population.
“We have adopted measures that improve the State’s financial situation, such as these agreements. There are R$30 million in this notice that will certainly be reinjected into our economy. This is an intelligent, creative and responsible way of dealing with debts, and thus, relieving court orders”said governor Clécio Luís.
The facility will enable payments to interested creditors immediately, with a discount of 10% up to 40% on the amount owed. Membership can be made from October 1st to October 31st, with payment expected by December. The agreement is aimed at creditors with court orders registered until April 2, 2024.
“Everyone benefits from this, but especially the population. The State pays off its debt and creditors, upon receiving the amounts, will certainly boost the economy. In the beginning, there was a lot of fear among creditors and lawyers, but now they are looking for us wanting to make the agreement”commented the president of Tjap, Adam Carvalho.

Direct agreements provide significant benefits for both the State and creditors, by anticipating payment and offering a more efficient solution for paying court orders. The rounds of negotiations, which have already taken place this year, generated savings of around R$10 million for the State coffers, through 355 agreements with creditors.
