Flamengo fires Tite even after victory over Athletico
On Monday morning (30), the Flemish announced the dismissal of coach Tite, just one day after the Rio club victory about the Athletico1-0, at Maracanã, in a game valid for the 28th round of the Brasileirão.
The termination occurs almost a year after being announced by Fla. With his departure, former player Filipe Luís takes command of the professional team on an interim basis.

Tite had already been targeted by fans even before the club’s elimination from the Libertadores, against Peñarol, last week. Even with the victory over Furacão, the coach was held accountable by the fans.
The former coach of the Brazilian national team leaves command of Flamengo just two days before the start of the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil. Fla faces Corinthians at this stage.
Under his command, Flamengo only won the Campeonato Carioca. There were 70 games ahead of the Rio club, with 41 wins, 13 draws and 16 defeats. In the Brasileirão, Fla is fourth, nine points behind leader Botafogo.
