Final of the Spike Breaking Battle classifies athletes for the 2024 competition – News of Brazil


This Sunday (28), the final of the competition of the Spike Breaking Battle, that defined the best athletes for the amapaense selection of Breaking. The Battle took place at the municipal gym Glicério Marques with the participation of approximately 30 competitors classified in the first phase.

The event stems from an amendment by the councilor Catano Bentes. The activity was carried out by the Cultural and Educational Institute Formar (ICEF), with the support of the Municipality of Macapá, through the Municipal Institute of Tourism (MacapaTur) and Municipal Secretary of Sport and Leisure (Semel).

The competition started with the performance of the B. Girls who thrilled the audience with innovative and precise steps.

The director of Macapatur Leda Sadala, explains that the first and second place men and women will be classified for the 2024 competition, which will take place in Macapá with the participation of athletes from all states in the northern region.

“In the 2024 Spike Breaking Battle, the prize will be worth R$ 30 thousand reais. This year, the classifieds receive a symbolic prize, first place receives R$500 reais, second place R$300 reais and third place R$200 reais”details the director.

A B. girl Stefany Oliveira, only 10 years old, in first place provoked applause from the public for her beautiful presentation. The young woman is the youngest of the participants, but already shows that she has a bright future in the sport. “I transform myself when I start dancing, it’s a joy that comes from the heart and infects those around me. This sport fulfills me!”it says.
