Students classified in the pre-selection must access the same address and complete the registration from March 15th to 17th. Those who do not qualify in the regular call will be automatically added to the waiting list and will compete for any vacancies that are not filled in the single call. The call for those selected in this stage will take place from March 21 to May 18. Fies is a program to finance tuition at private higher education institutions, based on the score of the National High School Examination (Enem). Attention: unlike Prouni, the program does not offer scholarships, but a “loan”. After completing graduation, the candidate must pay off the debt, in installments proportional to his income. The student classified in the pre-selection must enter the Fies website again and complete their registration data until 23:59 on March 17th. After that: within 5 days, go to the educational institution to present the required documentation; within 10 days, counting from the third business day of the visit to the educational institution, go to a financial agent (such as Caixa Econômica Federal) to formalize the financing agreement. Who is priority? In addition to the Enem score, the Fies system also considers the following order of priority when selecting approved students: I – Candidates who have not completed higher education and who have never joined Fies. II – Candidates who have not completed higher education, but have already benefited from student loans (with all debts paid). III – Candidates who have already completed higher education and have not benefited from Fies. IV – Candidates who have already completed higher education, through Fies, with all debts paid.
