Discover the vegetarian menus of the Bom Gourmet Festival in Porto Alegre

Vegetarian cuisine shows us new ways of exploring ingredients that, most of the time, we use as a side dish. Five of the 15 restaurants in the Festival Bom Gourmet in Porto Alegre have created meatless dishes that emphasize how much veggie cuisine is rich in flavors, colors and aromas.

From the 3rd to the 26th of March, the event offers the gaucho public quality gastronomic options for an affordable price. The special menus, vegetarian or not, with starter, main course and dessert, cost BRL 69.90 or BRL 89.90.

About the Bom Gourmet Festival:

The event conceived by People’s Gazette reaches its second edition in Porto Alegre. Participating establishments created three-time menus, served at lunch and/or dinner – depending on the operation of the house.

An icon of Porto Alegre, Press da Hilário is the kind of democratic place that pleases all palates. There, you will be delighted with vegetarian menus for lunch and dinner, whose highlights are the vegan Indian rice and the pupunha stroganoff.

BRESSER GROCERY

Inspired by the old warehouses in the Italian neighborhoods of Mooca and Brás, in São Paulo, Mercearia Bresser is bringing a series of mouth-watering vegetarian dishes to Bom Gourmet. The starter includes a green leaf salad, followed by a naturally fermented pizza with several vegetarian flavors of your choice and, for dessert, pineapple with lemon zest.

One of the most renowned meat houses in the country also has a unit in Porto Alegre. At Festival Bom Gourmet, the vegetarian menu serves pumpkin with blue cheese sauce and mix of leaves, cassava gnocchi with cheese fonduta and chocolate mousse.

POA PARRILLA

A little piece of Uruguay in Porto Alegre is what POA Parrilla proposes. But it’s not just meat that makes a good roast. For Bom Gourmet, the house also prepared a menu without animal protein, consisting of parrillero cheese or mini salad from the house for starters, vegetables on the parrilla featured and a slice of chajá pie to finish.

With all the quality of Grupo Press and touches of Rio Grande do Sul cuisine, Bah is a good choice for all audiences. The house prepared menus exclusively for those who are not meat fans. Among the highlights are the vegan cartereiro on the lunch menu and the soft polenta with mushroom ragu for dinner.
