Italian flavors have always been present in the history of Rio Grande do Sul, which is why they could not be left out of the gastronomic route of the Festival Bom Gourmet in Porto Alegre. From the 3rd to the 26th of March, the event will highlight renowned restaurants in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul that have prepared special menus for a fixed price.

Between the 15 establishments selected, five represent nonna’s cucina, with Italian classics among starters, mains and desserts. In all of them, the full experience costs BRL 69.90 or BRL 89.90.

About the Bom Gourmet Festival:

The event conceived by People’s Gazette reaches its second edition in Porto Alegre. Participating establishments created three-time menus, served at lunch and/or dinner – depending on the operation of the house.

DI PAOLO – BOULEVARD LACADOR

Located in another tourist spot in the capital, on Boulevard Laçador, Di Paolo brings the flavors of Serra Gaúcha to Porto Alegre, with à la carte dishes that warm the soul. There, you will be delighted with a dizzying sequence of chicken, pasta with different types of sauce, fried polenta and much more, which will be served at will.

Also on Boulevard Laçador, Expresso Di Paolo is the à la carte version of the gallery chain. To feel like you are in an Italian cantina, the house prepared the traditional capeletti soup as a starter, followed by the option of tortei with dried tomato sauce, chicken and other side dishes. You can also try the filet mignon dish with spaghetti in a four cheese sauce among the main dishes.

Inspired by the old warehouses in the Italian neighborhoods of Mooca and Brás, in São Paulo, Mercearia Bresser brings to Bom Gourmet typical dishes inspired by Italy, such as chicken parmigiana fillet, bolognese lasagna and, of course, pizza.

PECORINO BAR & TRATTORIA

Mediterranean flavors with fresh fish and spices are Pecorino’s differentials. Among the Italian flavors, the house prepared polpettine alforno as a starter, followed by the traditional gnocchi with tomato sauce and strips of filet mignon and, finally, tiramisu for dessert.

Anyone who enjoys a good chicken is sure to know Casa do Marquês, located on Rua Marquês do Pombal. Indulge in the capeletti soup, the chicken in the primo canto and a classic sago with cream for dessert.
