Manaus (AM) – The Amazonense Futsal Federation (FAFs) has defined the semifinalist teams for the State Championship in the U-20 Women’s category for the 2023 season. The games will take place next Monday (12), at the Renné Monteiro gym, in Manaus.

The third and final round of the qualifying phase took place last Tuesday night (6), at the Arena Poliesportiva Amadeu Teixeira. In the first game, Grêmio da Amazônia/Arsenal/Cecab won 3-0 over Hebreus, representing the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo.

In the main game of the night, Tuna Luso de Manaus was not aware of Estrela do Norte, current champion of the category, and won the match by 3 to 1. The team led by coach Telson Margarido ended the phase with nine points in three games, securing leadership. Kaylla, Brenda and Eriane scored for Tuna Luso, while Stheffany scored for Estrela do Norte.

Next Monday’s semifinals (12), at Renné Monteiro, will have the following duels: Estrela do Norte x Grêmio da Amazônia / Arsenal / Cecab (20:15), champion and runner-up of 2022; and Tuna Luso from Manaus x Hebreus from Presidente Figueiredo (21:30). According to FAFs president Marcelo Galvão, admission to the semifinals is free for the public.
