The Federal Revenue opens this Wednesday (15) the deadline for the delivery of the 2023 Income Tax, with the expectation of receiving 39.5 million declarations by May 31.

Those who received taxable income above R$ 28,559.70 in the last year are required to complete the declaration. Those who received exempt income, non-taxable or taxed exclusively at source, must also provide quotas with the lion, the sum of which was greater than R$ 40,000. See here which are all the groups that must declare income tax.

According to the agency, the programs for completing the declaration are already available, including for smartphones. The recommendation is that taxpayers use the pre-filled information from previous returns to streamline this year’s.

Refunds start on May 31, and those who opt for the pre-filled statement or receive via Pix will have priority, according to the Revenue. Download here the 2023 income tax program.
