Daily Communication System awaits candidates for decisive debate – Diário do Amapá

THE Daily Communication System The traditional debate between the candidates for mayor of Macapá begins late this Tuesday afternoon, 1st, at 5pm. Five of them confirmed their presence: Antonio Furlan (MDB), Patrícia Ferraz (PSDB), Aline Gurgel (Republicans), Gilvam Borges (Forward) and Paulo Lemos (Psol). The confrontation goes until 7pm.

The debate will be divided into five blocks: two of debates between the candidates, one of questions from popular people, one of questions from professionals from various areas to the candidates and finally one of questions from local journalists.

The journalism director of the Daily Communication System, Ziulana Melo, recalled this morning that the debate, called Diário, is traditional for municipal elections, with candidates for mayor of the capital, and for general elections, among candidates for the position of governor of Amapá. “It is a decisive confrontation for the electorate’s understanding of the competitors”pointed out the journalist.

Márlio Melo, administrative director and also responsible for the operational area, ensured that everything was prepared for the broadcast of the debate. The structure has already been erected in front of the Jornal Diário do Amapá and Diário FM buildings, where a big screen will be placed for the candidates’ supporters to watch, while cheering in their duly separated spaces, with the security of the Military Police.

The director Ziulana Melo instructed the fans not to go to the debate on Diário FM, with sound systems, so that they could better understand the candidates’ proposals on the screen. “The debate will be a democratic moment, decisive for the presentation of the proposals. So, the right thing to do is to cheer and at the same time listen clearly to the speech of the contestants”warned the journalist.
