Coritiba will have a new shirt and new features to celebrate 115 years

THE Coritiba prepares a series of actions to celebrate 115 years of the club’s history, this October. In addition to the official launch of the museum, Alviverde will also launch the season’s number three shirt, a themed bar, among other attractions for fans.

Coxa turns 115 years old on October 12th, and the day will also include Coxa Day, a traditional party organized by the club to celebrate the anniversary. Alviverde will also open a store to sell club items, the Coxa Store, inside Couto Pereira, and the Coxa Sports Bar.

The Glory Museum will open this month as part of the celebrations. The structure will be where the Coxa Memorial was located, deactivated in 2013. The Coxa Run, which takes place annually in October, will take place in December. More details will be released by the club soon.

Coritiba Museum will be launched in October

The Museu da Glória, as the memorial to the history of Coritiba will be called, will be opened this October as a space to preserve the legacy and history of Coxa.

The project that will tell the club’s history, and which was created in 2018, was started with resources from the Rouanet Law and also received financial support from SAF do Coritiba. The mission is to return to the Cox-Branca fan a place that can bring together the historical collection and preserve the legacy, in addition to telling the history of Paraná football.

The museum will have a developed and extensive structure capable of highlighting the entire development of the club with the evolution of the city. This space will provide an immersion in Coxa’s trajectory, with the exhibition of significant items.

The idea is to provide the visitor with a narrative that details the relationship between Coritiba, Curitiba and Alto da Glória, highlighting the beginning and the main milestones in the club’s trajectory. In addition, there will be a gallery of trophies, panels with great achievements, records, profiles of idols, as well as shirts, boots, balls, photographs and other important items.

Coritiba Race will be in December

The Coxa Run, which traditionally takes place in the club’s anniversary month, this time will be on December 1st. Registration is now open for the three (walk), five and ten kilometer routes. The event will also have a race for children aged four to 12.

Tickets start at R$99 for Coxa fan members and R$109.50 for the general public. Registration is open until November 21st.
