4.1 million taxpayers will be covered

The Federal Revenue opens this Wednesday (24), at 10 am, the consultation of the first batch of refunds of the 2023 Individual Income Tax.

The lot includes 4.1 million taxpayers who are in the priority queue, such as seniors over 80, people with disabilities, teachers and those who made the pre-filled statement or chose to receive the refund through Pix. The amounts will be paid by Revenue on May 31.

To check whether the refund will be available, the taxpayer must access the Federal Revenue website on the internet and click on the items “My Income Tax” and “Consult the Restitution”.

In the first batch, considered by the agency the largest in history, around R$ 7.5 billion will be distributed to taxpayers.

The delivery of the tax return started on the 15th of March and ends on the 31st of May, at 23:59.
