Conmebol stadiums opening closing Copa América USA – 11/20/2023 – Sport

Conmebol (South American Football Confederation) announced this Monday (20) the stadiums that will host the opening match and the final of the Copa América, which will be played in the United States in 2024.
The first game of the tournament will be on June 20th at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, with a capacity for around 70 thousand spectators, a venue that hosts games for Atlanta United, in football, and the Atlanta Falcons, in American football.
The final will be on July 14th at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami, which can accommodate up to 65 thousand people in the stands and hosts Miami Dolphins matches.
Both will also host matches for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The Copa América will be played by the 10 teams affiliated with Conmebol (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela).
The group will also be joined by six Concacaf countries (Football Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean) best classified in the Nations League regional tournament.
The draw for the Copa América group stage will be in Miami, on December 7th, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time).
