Conmebol releases 2026 World Cup qualifying table – News of Brazil

Selection opens against Bolivia in September
The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) announced the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers schedule, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The Brazilian team debuts, in Brazil, against Bolivia, in September. The duel has no date or location defined yet.
Throughout the year, the team will play twice more in October and November.
For the first time, the World Cup will have 48 participants in 2026. Six South American teams qualify directly for the World Cup. The seventh-placed team will compete for a spot in the play-offs.
