Collaborative Solar Sarau welcomes Cleômenes Júnior and Chris Amoretti at Teatro de Câmara Túlio Piva
The Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul and the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy present the double Soiree do Solar Collaborativo, with Cleômenes Junior at 7pm and Chris Amoretti at 8pm this Wednesday (2), at Teatro de Câmara Túlio Piva ( Rua da República, 575). With free entry, the Sarau do Solar Colaborativo receives, via PIX, donations for the collective RS Música Urgente.Cleômenes Junior is a saxophonist, flutist, composer, arranger, teacher and holds a degree in Popular Music from UFRGS. At the collaborative Solar Sarau Cleômenes presents compositions from his recently released instrumental EP Selva Urbana. The show features songs from the album, new compositions by Cleômenes and songs by Moacir Santos, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, and moves rhythmically between different musical languages, such as Reggae, Hip Hop, Funk/Groove, Dub, Samba and Jazz. He will be accompanied by Ras Vicente (piano), Mateus Albornoz (bass) and Fernando Catatau (drums). Singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer from Porto Alegre, Chris Amoretti celebrates 30 years of solo career with the original show Suddenly, 30! The show features songs that marked his career, such as the radio hits The Limbs of God, Move In and Make Big!, from his first work, as well as songs from his most recent album, Magnetic South.
