Bolsonaro resumes lives to deal with electoral campaign
Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) used his Telegram account to announce that, starting next week, he will resume his traditional lives. According to the statement, two will be scheduled for the next few days. The first on Tuesday (1st) and the other on Sunday (6th), the day when the first round of municipal elections takes place. According to Bolsonaro, broadcasts start at 7pm. “We will deal, for 30 minutes, with the elections and facts of the day”, he wrote.
According to the former president’s interlocutors, the broadcasts will be carried out from his former home, in the Vivendas da Barra condominium, in Rio de Janeiro. The former president promises to focus on campaign actions for those he supports in the state of Rio de Janeiro in this last week of the campaign before the first round.
Bolsonaro, who has been traveling Brazil for events to support PL candidates, is expected to arrive in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday (1st), the date on which the first live broadcast is scheduled. On Wednesday (2) the former president participates in motorcades in support of the campaign of Alexandre Ramagem (PL), who is running for mayor of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, and of candidate Renato Araújo (PL), who is running for mayor of Angra dos Reis. The invitation was made by Bolsonaro himself and his son, Flávio Bolsonaro, in a video posted on social media.
