The company was created in 2022, with the sanction of Law No. 2655. Its staff will be composed of Caesa employees.

The implementation is made possible by an additional fund of R$ 880 million, resulting from the sanitation concession carried out by the State Government, with technical support from the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).

The measure seeks to universalize access to treated water and sewage in the 16 municipalities. Investments resulting from the concession amount to R$ 4.8 billion.

The benefits of investments in basic sanitation go beyond improving infrastructure and result in better health and well-being for the population.
