Amazonas hosts Health Audit Symposium with several speakers


Manaus (AM) — Registration is now open for the 1st Health Audit Symposium, an unprecedented event that will bring together several national experts in more than 15 lectures on relevant and current issues in the area. The program will take place on March 26th and 27th, at Novotel, located on Avenida Mandii, Distrito Industrial neighborhood, in Manaus. Tickets are on sale at Sympla:

Carried out by the Brazilian Association of Nurses of Amazonas (ABEA-AM), the main objective is to contribute to the qualification of hospitals, clinics, health plan operators, health managers, students, auditors, professionals from multidisciplinary teams, who work in hospitals and clinics in the North Region, among others. Ticket prices are: R$150 for health students, R$325 for ABEA members and R$400 for health professionals.

“It will be an important event to address relevant and current topics in the clinical and hospital areas, serving as an update and, without a doubt, qualification for the new generation. We set up a multidisciplinary program, with the aim of ensuring that participants understand the importance of working together in the audit. The event will take place in Manaus, but will also welcome professionals and students from other states in the Northern Region”,

1st Day Schedule

On Tuesday, March 26, at 8:30 am, the 1st Health Audit Symposium begins with a talk by the president of ABEA Nacional, Helena Romcy.

Then, at 9:30 am, the public follows the lecture “History of the Brazilian Association of Nurse Auditors – ABEA”, given by Dr. Débora Soares de Oliveira, vice-president of ABEA Nacional. At 10:30 am, the program continues with the lecture “Present, Past and Future of Supplementary Health”, presented by the former president of the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS), Rogério Scarabel.

At 11 am, the public will follow “The audit journey as a tool for improving care quality and reducing costs”, with the vice-president of the Brazilian Society of Medical Auditing (SBAM), Goldete Priszkulnik.

The afternoon program starts at 1:30 pm, with the lecture “Entrepreneurship in Nursing”, led by Dr.ᵃ Alessandra Cavalcante. At 2:30 pm, the public follows “Update on OPME/DMI [órteses, próteses e materiais especiais/dispositivos médicos implantáveis] in Spine Procedures – Spine Endoscopy and New Technologies”, with Dr.ᵃ Debora de Sousa Guedes Lopes.

At 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, lectures will take place: “Ablative Methods for the Treatment of Liver Tumors — Radiofrequency”, with Dr. Sidney Chalub; “National Implant Registry – RNI”, taught by Dr.ᵃ Maria Glória Vicente; and others.

2nd Day Schedule

On Wednesday, March 27, at 8 am, the second day of the Symposium begins with a lecture on knee prosthesis technologies and treatments, presented by the company KE Ortopedia.

Soon after, at 8:30 am, the program continues with the lecture “Safe Surgery”, presented by the company Johnson & Johnson; Dr.ᵃ Daniele Rodrigues Campos, at 10am, will address the topic “ANS”. At 11am, the “Monitorization” lecture will take place, with the Edwards brand.

In the afternoon, at 1:30 pm, the program continues with the lecture “TAV”, from the company Meditronic. Then, at 2:30 pm, Dr. Debora de Sousa Guedes Lopes gives the lecture “Patient safety when using OPME DMI”. Immediately afterwards, at 3pm, the lecture “OSSUR”, by the Mizael brand, will be presented.

The closing of the 1st Health Audit Symposium is scheduled for 4pm, with the presentation of the main issues discussed at the event.

About the event

The Health Audit Symposium program will also feature scientific work, exhibition of products, technologies and new therapeutic options for OPME (ortheses, prostheses and special materials), DMI (Implantable Medical Devices), Diagnostic Devices and Equipment Doctors, among others. In addition, there will be practical examples of auditing in the public and private network.
