In the same studio session, the singers also recorded Marcos Valle and Arnaldo Antunes’ first partnership, ‘Viva’, as a duet. Claudette Soares (on the left) and Alaíde Costa record in the studio the song ‘Suave Virgínia’ for Alaíde’s album and the song ‘Viva’ for Claudette Victor Balde’s album / Disclosure ♪ Alaíde Costa’s partnership with Nando Reis already has a second song, Suave Vessel, successor to the samba-canção Tristonho (2022), the inaugural title of the partnership, presented by the singer last year on the acclaimed album O que meu calos diz sobre mim (2022). A gentle vessel appears on Alaíde’s next album – the second in the trilogy orchestrated by Marcus Preto under the musical direction of Pupillo – in a recording made by the artist in a duet with Claudette Soares, a singer with whom Alaíde is friends. The initial idea was that the singers’ reunion in the studio would take place during the recording of Marcos Valle’s first partnership with Arnaldo Antunes, Viva, for Alaíde’s next album. But, as Marcus Preto is also orchestrating an album of new songs for Claudette Soares, this one under the musical direction of drummer Vitor Cabral, the song Viva was moved to Claudette’s album, due to thematic affinity, becoming part of the repertoire that already includes the compositions Feliz (Zé Manoel and Ronaldo Bastos) and Natural (Zé Renato and Nando Reis). However, the initial idea of recording Viva as a duet by Alaíde and Claudette was maintained. The bases and voices of the two duets were recorded on August 29, in the same studio session, in the city of São Paulo (SP), with Suave vessel for Alaíde’s album and Viva for Claudette’s album. And speaking of Alaíde’s next album, the second single from the album, Ata-me, arrives in the world on Thursday, September 21st. Ata-me is a song composed by Junio Barreto for the still unreleased album by the artist from Pernambuco, but given to Alaíde to release on the album O que meu calos diz sobre mim. But Ata-me ended up giving way on the album to Erasmo Carlos’s (1941 – 2022) first partnership with Tim Bernardes, Praga, and became the second album in Alaíde Costa’s trilogy. The first single from Alaíde Costa’s next album, Moço, featured on May 26 the song composed by Marisa Monte with Carlinhos Brown for the singer.
