The ballot is made available at electoral offices

On October 6th, the date of the 1st round of the 2024 Municipal Elections, the Amapaense Electoral Court advises voters to take a “sticky note” with the numbers of the candidacies for which they intend to vote. The use of paper glue is permitted even in the voting booth, which makes typing numbers into the electronic ballot box quicker and easier. This year, voters will go to the polls to choose representatives for the positions of councilor and mayor.

The use of glue is a practice encouraged by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and helps the voter not to forget the candidate’s number; provides speed in voting; and contributes to the flow of queues at polling stations.

The glue is available at election offices throughout the state. The registry offices are open from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 7pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 2pm to 7pm.

Candidate numbers and profiles can be accessed on the Electoral Justice platform, DivulgaCand.
